General Information

Annual Meeting Program/Abstract Issue of the American Zoologist

All registered attendees of the 2000 Annual Meeting will receive a copy of the Annual Meeting Program and Abstracts on-site at the SICB Registration/Information Desk located at the Atlanta Hilton and Towers. Copies will not be mailed prior to the Annual Meeting.

Registration/Information Area

The SICB Registration/Information area will be located at the Atlanta Hilton and Towers. The hours of operation are:

	Tuesday, January 4	2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
	Wednesday, January 5	7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
	Thursday, January 6	7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
	Friday, January 7	7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
	Saturday, January 8	7:00 a.m.-Noon

Staff is available during these times to assist you with membership enrollment, on-site registration, conference materials, employment opportunity information, meeting room locations, and information on Atlanta.

Business Center

The Atlanta Hilton and Towers has an on-site business center. Use of this business center for photocopies, computer usage, mailings, faxing, etc. is at your own expense.

Employment Opportunities

The Employment Opportunity desk will be located in the SICB Registration/Information area. The Employment Opportunity desk will provide a place for attendees to post "Positions Wanted," learn about "Positions Available" and schedule possible interviews. If you requested a form with your abstract, your résumé or c.v. will be included in the Employment Handbook. An attendant at the desk will schedule interviews for interested attendees.

Parking

If you drive to the SICB Annual Meeting, you may park at the Atlanta Hilton and Towers. Daily rates range from $8 for outside parking to $12 for valet.

Message Board

A message board will be located at the SICB Registration/Information Area. All messages received will be posted in alphabetical order. Attendees may also leave messages and announcements for other attendees on the message board. Please contact the Atlanta Hilton and Towers, 404/659-2000, to reach the SICB Registration/Information Area.

Child Care

If you will be bringing children with you, please contact the concierge at the Atlanta Hilton and Towers to arrange for recommended baby-sitting services. Children over 18 are eligible to attend any SICB function at the Spouse/Guest registration fee.

Please email Susan Heckman at susan_heckman@sba.com with the days you'll be in Atlanta and whether you're male or female. No guarantees, but we'll do our best.
